The Embassy of India in Brazil is pleased to inform that India SME Forum, with the support of the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, is organizing two Reverse Buyer–Seller Meets (RBSMs) under a Hosted Buyer Programme:
- Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, 28–30 January 2027, with the support of the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation. Focus sectors: agro and food, seafood and marine products, engineering goods, and coconut-based products.
- Mumbai, Maharashtra, 1–3 February 2027, with the support of the Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC). Focus sectors: apparel and textiles, gems and jewellery, drugs and pharmaceuticals, plastics, and leather.
The meets connect international buyers with verified Indian MSMEs and exporters through sector-focused, one-on-one meetings. The programme includes pitch sessions of 7–10 minutes in which buyers present their sourcing requirements, pre-scheduled B2B meetings, panel discussions with experts and policymakers, and networking sessions. According to the organizers, buyers will have access to more than 300 verified Indian suppliers across each priority export sector.
The programme is open to Brazilian importers, distributors, sourcing companies and institutional buyers in these sectors. Applicants must represent a company registered outside India, must have made cumulative purchases or imports of at least USD 50,000 during the last two financial years, and must intend to buy, source or import from Indian MSMEs.
Selected buyers will receive hotel accommodation with breakfast, official lunches and dinners, local transport for the duration of the meet, and an onsite helpdesk. Participation is subject to approval after due diligence by India SME Forum’s International Trade Division. Travel, accommodation and logistics offered under the hosted programme are non-transferable and subject to confirmation.
