The Embassy of India in Brazil is pleased to inform that the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is organizing the 50th India Carpet Expo, from 4–6 October 2026 at Carpet Expo Mart, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Marking five decades of connecting international buyers with India's leading manufacturers and exporters, the Expo will showcase India's rich craftsmanship, contemporary designs, sustainable products and diverse range of handmade carpets and floor coverings. As India assumes the BRICS Presidency in 2026, this landmark edition provides an important platform to strengthen trade and commercial linkages among BRICS countries.

The Expo welcomes carpet and flooring importers, wholesalers, retailers, buying houses, sourcing companies, interior designers, architects, trade associations and other businesses interested in sourcing from India.

To encourage participation from BRICS countries, CEPC is pleased to offer a Special Buyer Hospitality Package to selected and eligible overseas buyers, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria and terms and conditions. Eligible buyers from BRICS countries will be considered for an airfare subsidy of US$700, while selected eligible buyers will also be provided complimentary hotel accommodation for up to two nights, including breakfast, along with airport–hotel and hotel–exhibition venue shuttle transportation, as per arrangements made by CEPC. The hospitality support is solely at the discretion of CEPC, which reserves the right to determine the eligibility and selection of buyers. The package is subject to applicable terms and conditions, availability, and verification of information and documents submitted by the buyer, and the decision of CEPC in this regard shall be final.

An exclusive Networking Dinner at Hotel Taj Ganges, Varanasi is also planned, providing international buyers, Indian exporters and business delegations an opportunity to connect and explore potential partnerships.
