Setting up of New Centres for conducting JEE (Main) 2022 for Academic Year 2022-23

1. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been conducting JEE (Main) since January 2019, for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an Eligibility Test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. The Paper-2 of the JEE (Main) is also conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

2. In the current Year, JEE (Main)-2022 is being conducted in 2 Sessions, the 1st Session in the last week of April 2022, and the 2nd Session in the last week of May 2022.

3. It has been decided by the Ministry of Education to include Brasilia as an Exam City for holding JEE (Main) 2022 Examination. Accordingly, the last date for submission of the application (through the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/ External website that opens in a new window) has been extended to 05.05.2022, for enabling the aspiring Candidates from the Indian diaspora in Brazil.

4. Aspiring candidates are requested to apply for the exam accordingly.
